Everything To Know About the EVO Lite & EVO Nano

As the end of 2021 quickly approaches, Autel has slowly begun to release more information regarding their upcoming EVO Nano & EVO Lite drones. While there is still no confirmed release date of either model, we are hoping to get our hands on these sometime early 2022. We will begin to take pre-orders for the drones and accessories starting 12/15.

A few weeks ago, Autel released their official price list which contained an astounding 28 (Yes, 28!) variations of drones to choose from between both models. With pricing starting from $649 and ranging to $1649, we see this release as direct competition to the Mini 2, Air 2S, and even the Mavic 3 from DJI.

Starting off with the EVO Nano, there are 4 different colorways, and combo packages to choose from. Your color options are Autel Orange, Arctic White, Blazing Red, and Deep Space Gray. Once you have your heart set on a color, lets dive into the different options:

EVO Nano Standard Package - $649

EVO Nano Premium Package - $799

EVO Nano+ Standard Package - $799

EVO Nano+ Premium Package - $949

The Standard package includes everything you need to get started with the aircraft, 1 battery, remote controller, and cables. The Premium package adds 2x additional batteries, a charging hub, 3x extra pairs of propellers, a shoulder bag, and a few additional smaller cables and plugs.

Looking at the spec list for both, the only difference between the two models (Nano & Nano+) is the camera. The Nano features a 1/2" CMOS Sensor, 48MP Photos, and can shoot 4k at 30FPS. The Nano+ features a 0.8" RYYB CMOS Sensor, 50MP Stills, and shoots the same video resolution as the Nano. The aircraft itself is equipped for 28-minute flight time, 6.2 Miles Transmission, Three-Way Obstacle Avoidance, and tons of new flight modes.

Moving on to the EVO Lite, there will be three color options to choose from. Your options are Autel Orange, Arctic White, and Deep Space Gray. Similar to the Nano, once you pick your favorite look, you will have four variations to select from.

EVO Lite Standard Package - $1249

EVO Lite Premium Package - $1549

EVO Lite+ Standard Package - $1349

EVO Lite+ Premium Package - $1649

What is included in each package is the same as the Nano, keep in mind, adding the accessories later always totals out to be more expensive than the bundle product.

Looking at the Spec list, the EVO Lite comes equipped with a .8" CMOS Sensor, RYYB Color Filter Array, 50MP gimbal, while the EVO Lite+ includes a 1" CMOS RGGB Sensor Camera, capable of 20MP Stills and can record 6K at 30FPS - 4K at 60FPS. Both variations include a 40-minute flight time battery, have Three-Way Wide Angle obstacle avoidance sensors, and has an image transmission range of 7.2 Miles.

Needless to say we are excited to get our hands on these. While they may not be in time to sit under the tree, hopefully they will be here on time to get some awesome end of winter and early spring shots!
